Echoes of Vision

Echoes of Vision is a role-playing game with a turn-based tactical combat system set in a futuristic world where nightmares and monsters really exist. The game's story begins in Lengshan City, one of the world's largest and most prosperous metropolises, which is being affected by a phenomenon known as "Visions". As leader of the Special Investigation Section, SIS, your objective is to locate these Visions and deal with them.

Tactical and leisurely combat

Many JRPGs, especially on Android devices, have a very simple combat system, sometimes even automatic. That is not the case with Echoes of Vision. In this game, combat is more akin to games like XCOM or Fire Emblem. During your turn you are free to move your characters around the setting, taking into account that each hero has their own movement score. Each character can perform one movement action and one attack during the combat phase, so it is very important to try to take advantage of any cover in the setting, so that when your turn is over your characters are not exposed to enemy attack. Without a good strategy, you won't get very far.

Recruit new Agents to your team

When you start playing Echoes of Vision you will only have a very small group of Agents, so you will lack tactical depth. As you pass levels, however, you can unlock and recruit new characters. Through the game's gacha system, you can acquire dozens more Agents, with varying levels of rarity. When you start the game, you will receive several free premium gacha spins. After that, you can get more by logging in every day and completing all the available missions. Luckily, the game always has new missions with corresponding rewards.

Second, it has a much darker and more adult aesthetic than the vast majority of titles in the genre, taking inspiration from the greats like Control. These two aspects make it stand out from the vast majority of video games released every month.
